Interactions of L-Proline in Aqueous K2SO4, KNO3 and KCl at Temperatures 303.15, 308.15, 313.15, 318.15 and 323.15 K
Riffat Basharat
Density and ultrasonic velocity of L-proline have been carried out in K2SO4 + water, KNO3 + water and KCl + water at different temperatures, 303.15, 308.15, 313.15, 318.15 and 323.15 K. The thermodynamic parameters such as apparent molal volume and apparent molal isentropic compressibility have been calculated. The values of these parameters have been further used to derive the apparent molal volume at infinite dilution i.e. partial molal volume, ( 0 ) φv and apparent molal isentropic compressibility at infinite dilution i.e partial molal compressibility, ( 0 ) φk for L-proline in the said aqueous solution of electrolytes. The results were discussed in terms of solute- solute and solute- solvent interactions
