Diabetes Mellitus is a chronicdisorder which is caused by metabolic disfunction due to insufficientinsulin secretion or insulin disfunction which creates thedisturbances in the metabolism of proteins, fat and carbohydrates.Primarily drugs are used to treat diabetes mellitus. Oralhypoglycaemic agents are also used to treat the diseasesulphonylureas, biguanides, alpha glucosidase inhibitors, meglitinideanalogues, and thiazolidenediones are most usefull Oral hypoglycaemicagents.
